Principal's Message 2026-2027

Hello Vista Families,

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! It is an honor to continue serving as the principal of Vista del Lago High School. Vista is an exceptional school with a variety of opportunities for every student, from rigorous academics and championship-caliber athletics to award-winning visual and performing arts programs. My hope is that every student finds a place to belong, discovers their passion, and makes the most of every opportunity that Vista has to offer.

Our dedicated teachers, counselors, classified staff, and coaches work tirelessly to create an environment where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. We are proud of the strong sense of community that makes Vista special and remain committed to ensuring that every student and family feels welcomed, valued, and connected.

As we begin a new year together, I encourage every student to embrace new experiences, challenge themselves academically and personally, and build meaningful relationships with classmates, teachers, and staff. High school is about more than earning credits; it's about discovering who you are, developing lifelong skills, and creating memories that will last well beyond graduation.

I look forward to another incredible year of learning, growth, and celebrating the accomplishments of our Eagle community.

It's going to be a fantastic year, and it's a great day to be an Eagle!

-Mr. Leonhardt, Principal, Vista del Lago High School
