Job Corps
Job Corps provides free career training and education for 16- through 24-year-olds. We have over 120 campuses across the U.S. where students gain the experience needed to begin a career or apprenticeship, advance to higher education, or join the military. The best part? It’s free. Eligibility: Low-income 16- through 24-year-olds who are U.S. citizens, legal U.S. residents, or residents of a U.S. territory, and/or are authorized to work in the United States.
AmeriCorps is a national service program that connects individuals with opportunities to address critical community needs in areas like education, disaster response, and the environment. Participants receive benefits such as a living allowance and educational awards while making a positive impact in their communities.

The Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) is a non-profit organization that provides young adults, ages 18-26, with educational achievement and paid work experience. SRCC focuses on improving communities in the Sacramento region through environmental projects and workforce training
The California Conservation Corps (CCC) enrolls young adults, 18 to 25, for a year of natural resource work and emergency response, benefiting both youth and the environment.
