Youth Mental Health Academy

Are you interested in a career in mental health? The Youth Mental Health Academy (YMHA) is a fantastic program that offers hands-on learning, mentorship, and paid internships to high school students from structurally marginalized communities in California.

Program Details:

  • First Summer: June 23 – July 24, 2025 (Onsite Mental Health Academy)
  • Academic Year: August 2025 – May 2026 (Monthly workshops & mentor support)
  • Second Summer: July & August 2026 (Internship in a mental health-related field)

Application Info:

  • Deadline: March 31, 2025
  • Notification: May 1, 2025

FCUSD CTE Summer Preceptorship Program

For Juniors who have taken a CTE course. CTESPP is a four-week, hybrid high school work-based learning course consisting of in-class instruction, an internship with a Business partner,  that culminates into a research project. Sac County DA Office invites local high school students to job shadow professionals during the Criminal Justice & Crime lab shadowing days.
