College Visits

Vista del Lago understands the importance of college visits for our students. It is preferred that students and their families schedule visits during holidays and breaks. We understand that this is not always possible.

 Students in their:

Junior year- allowed TWO days excused for official college visits.

Senior year - allowed THREE days excused for official college visits.

In order to have the absence excused, a request has to be sent to the assistant principal(s) 48 hours prior to the visit -  in writing. The request can be sent via email. Any absence outside of the two or three day allowance will not be excused.
